I’ve been playing the Chill station on my new car and when I find a song I like, I use the Shazam app to save the name quickly and effortlessly. Later, I add it to my Spotify playlist and dig down to see what other cool songs this artist has made.
Just like Yuna, I could not detect a foreign accent in the english, so I assume this might be British or American. The name and the mention of Athens piqued my curiosity.
It turns out that it’s not only a Greek group but the band name, Keep Shelly in Athens, was conceived as a pun on a neighbourhood of Athens called Kypseli.
